I just took on a new client that had an accountant for 25 years. He
went into an Assisted Living Home and she still sent her paperwork to
him. She can no longer make contact with him and believes he has
passed in his late 80's.
She made a comment that she didn't mind her accountant getting older
because "what you use your don't lose" and she knows we are working
our minds constantly. I was not as confident and asked to look at
the books from the beginning of her fiscal year. Sure enough, they
are clean as a whistle. Maybe she's right.
I may qualify for your Seniors group but we girls don't talk about
such things. :-)
