I've decided to go to Drake for 2010 because I opted for the ATX early deal this year.  I didn't want to have to learn new software.  Their training session was too late so I will be crossing over to Drake next year.  Most of you all use Drake so it will be easier for me to "communicate" in 2010.  I'll be counting on you to be an "old hand" on Drake by then, Arnie!!

Donna,

Have you asked ATX or another practitioner that uses ATX for the old programs?  I would think they would give them to you.  I got a lot of old programs from Drake and other practitioners when I bought Drake in 2000 going all the way back to 1987.  It saves a lot of handwriting and time.  I would think your license covers all of ATX's old stuff.

Donna,

Go to the ATX Community website and look for downloads of old programs.  You may need a Code to get in.

Donna,

Have you asked ATX or another practitioner that uses ATX for the old programs?  I would think they would give them to you.  I got a lot of old programs from Drake and other practitioners when I bought Drake in 2000 going all the way back to 1987.  It saves a lot of handwriting and time.  I would think your license covers all of ATX’s old stuff.

That would be nice.  Since I just started my own practice, I only have ATX from 2005 and forward.  I will have to go out to the IRS website and do the old ones by hand.  It will be a good exercise for me, I think.
