This year I prepared approximately 650 returns (Individuals, Partnerships, Corps, S Corps, 990's, etc.).  I also do accounting for about 75 clients.  In analyzing my books this year, it looks like I've had around 30 folks charge.  I've heard of companies that don't charge for the machine, but their fees were always quite a bit higher, or had high monthly fees.  I've been very satisfied with this company...and since I picked up about 50 new clients, who knows if that was a factor (or probably just my winning personality!  LOL)

I am trying to keep my expenses to a minimum, but their fees are reasonable. I know that some companies don't charge for the equipment.

Chris, I paid $349 for the machine.  Setup was a snap.  I got it from Cocard (NATP affiliated company).  If you don't use it during the month, a minimum fee of $5.  Not too bad.  I take Visa, MC, and Discover.  American Express had a $35/mo minimum fee, and their % was larger than any of the other cards, so I don't take it.  This is the info I found on the NATP website when Cocard was a vender at the National Convention.  Looks like I can get a referral bonus if you use my name!  That would be great!
 
My machine lets me put in #'s taken over the phone also (for those clients out of town!).  And it takes debit cards (which is why I really wanted it...all the younger folks that I do don't have checkbooks, besides the monthly fee being low when I don't use it much (summer, fall, etc.)  AND it batches itself out every night (if you used it that day).  What can be simpler than that!   Hope this helps!

Does anyone know of a credit card processing system where you are charged a % of the sale BUT YOU DO NOT have to pay a monthly fee in addition to the % charge?

I have a couple of clients that have asked to pay via CC but it is seldom and I don't want to pay PAYPAL a $30 monthly fee to accept credit cards

I am trying to keep my expenses to a minimum, but their fees are reasonable. I know that some companies don't charge for the equipment.

Chris, I paid $349 for the machine.  Setup was a snap.  I got it from Cocard (NATP affiliated company).  If you don't use it during the month, a minimum fee of $5.  Not too bad.  I take Visa, MC, and Discover.  American Express had a $35/mo minimum fee, and their % was larger than any of the other cards, so I don't take it.  This is the info I found on the NATP website when Cocard was a vender at the National Convention.  Looks like I can get a referral bonus if you use my name!  That would be great!
 
My machine lets me put in #'s taken over the phone also (for those clients out of town!).  And it takes debit cards (which is why I really wanted it...all the younger folks that I do don't have checkbooks, besides the monthly fee being low when I don't use it much (summer, fall, etc.)  AND it batches itself out every night (if you used it that day).  What can be simpler than that!   Hope this helps!

Apakah NPWP dalam surat teguran itu sama dengan NPWP yang kamu daftarkan di januari 2008,
jika tidak sama kemungkinan kamu mendapatkan NPWP secara jabatan atau karena program ekstensifikasi
dirjen pajak.jika sama kemungkinan ada transaksi yang terutang pajak ditahun 2007 yang menyebabkan kamu
harus melapor ditahun 2007 seperti penjualan asset, jika tidak ada baiknya kamu tanya ke AR kamu kenapa
dapat itu surat teguran.

perlu tidaknya sunset kamu yang tentukan,misalnya apakah daftar harta yang akan kamu laporkan
di tahun 2008 bener bener hasil dari gaji satu perusahaan bukan dari usaha yang lain.jika iya ada baiknya kamu
buat arus kas untuk pembelian asset tersebut.agar sewaktu waktu ada pertanyaan kamu bisa jawab.
juga kumpulkan bukti potong atas penghasilan yang kamu terima untuk pembelian asset tersebut.

jika sumber penghasilan saya hanya dari gaji bekerja di suatu
perusahaan, apakah saya masih perlu mendaftarkan sunset policy ?

Ada yg advise, jika kita hanya sebagai karyawan tanpa ada pekerjaan
samping lainnya, maka tidak perlu ikut sunset, karena selama ini
sudah dicover oleh perushaan.

Pajak atas Hadiah undian dasar hukumnya adalah PP No.132 tahun 2000 jo.Kep-395/PJ./2001
tarifnya adalah 25% dari jumlah bruto hadiah undian, pajak ini bersifat Final.

Kalo melihat ilustrasi kamu,pada saat beli hadiah kamu terhutang PPN atas Pembelian Mobil tersebut
Sejumlah 9.000.000,-[PPN ini Uncreditable]

Ilustrasi

Harga Mobil        90.000.000,-
PPN                     9.000.000,-  ----> Ini yang Perusahaan Kamu bayar saat terima Faktur dari Penjual

Total                    99.000.000,----->Ini yang menjadi dasar Potongan PPH Final

Jika Pajak ditanggung Pemenang maka Pemenang harus membayar Rp.99.000.000,- x 25% =24.750.000,-
baru dia bisa dapet mobilnya.Bukti Potong ini dilaporkan si pemenang di 1770 S-II A Nomor 4

Oh iya pada saat hadiah kamu kasih ke pemenang kamu harus buatin faktur pajak sederhana atas penyerahan

I'm so glad I chose to use Peachtree payroll. They answer the phone and make you feel good, they respond to E-mail and you feel they are interested in helping you. I get charged $1.60 per check for direct deposit and if I don't get the payroll in on time I get another $10 fee for expediting. If any employees choose to not be direct deposit then I manually print those checks with no fee from Peachtree. I make money off my QB clients, I enjoy using Peachtree. And my QB clients that want payroll pay me extra for manually data processing their payroll into QB after I've prepared it in Peachtree.

I am really sick of Intuits customer service.  This is the second time I have called them this year and both times have reached the Philippines and someone who can only read from their script.  All I wanted to know was when would the 2008 940 form be available - since it is already available on the IRS website.  The guy I just spoke to didn't even know what the IRS was!!  I'm not kidding!  He told me to contact my accountant to get the form!  ARRGGHH!

      Tahunan   (Form 1770 S-I Bagian B: Penghasilan bukan objek pajak)]

    [perhatikan persentase perbandingan penghasilan dan beban,Sepanjang bukan surat saham,
      penyertaan modal, tanah dan/atau bangunan maka masih bisa dibuatkan strategi pelaporannya ]
 
Dan masih banyak lagi manfaat NPWP tergantung Dirjen Pajak buat peraturan apalagi biar semua orang
punya NPWP.
 
Balik Lagi kepertanyaan Kamu.Jika di Slip gaji tertera potongan PPH psl.21 kamu harusnya dapet 2 Bukti
potong 1721-A1 untuk tahun 2007 dan untuk Jan-sept 2008 dari tempat kamu bekerja.Walaupun bukti
potong tersebut tidak ada NPWP kamu tapi masih dapat dikreditkan kok sepanjang Nama yang tertera
dibukti potong sama dengan KTP dan Kartu NPWP yang Kamu buat.
 
Jika kamu belum bekeluarga dan orang tua sudah pensiun [tidak memiliki lagi penghasilan] maka kamu dapat
meminta surat keterangan dari kelurahan bahwa orang tua kamu sudah pensiun,dan kamu membuat surat pernyataan bahwa kamu menanggung kehidupan orang tua kamu.jangan lupa fotocopy KK ya biar afdol

Rekan" milis, numpang tanya dong.
 
Tahun 2007 s/d September'08, saya bekerja, dan penghasilan saya telah dipotong (namun tdk ada bukti potongnya, hanya di slip gaji tertera ada potongan PPh 21) oleh perusahaan tmp saya bekerja & dilaporkan dalam SPT tahunan perusahaan. Namun saya belum memiliki NPWP. Kemudian Oktober'08, saya tidak bekerja lagi.
Pertanyaannya apakah saya tetap diharuskan membuat NPWP & memanfaatkan sunset policy?
 
Karena minggu lalu saya mendatangi KPP di wilayah & menceritakan hal tsb, oleh mereka dikatakan bahwa saya tdk perlu membuat NPWP. Namun, saya juga mencoba mendatangi KPP beda wilayah, saya dianjurkan utk membuat NPWP. Hal ini benar" membuat saya bingung, hingga saat ini, saya belum memutuskan membuat NPWP/tdk.
 
Apabila saya memang seharusnya membuat NPWP, bolehkah saya meminta surat keterangan dari kelurahan bahwa saya menanggung kehidupan orang tua saya?

Chris, I paid $349 for the machine.  Setup was a snap.  I got it from Cocard (NATP affiliated company).  If you don't use it during the month, a minimum fee of $5.  Not too bad.  I take Visa, MC, and Discover.  American Express had a $35/mo minimum fee, and their % was larger than any of the other cards, so I don't take it.  This is the info I found on the NATP website when Cocard was a vender at the National Convention.  Looks like I can get a referral bonus if you use my name!  That would be great!
 
My machine lets me put in #'s taken over the phone also (for those clients out of town!).  And it takes debit cards (which is why I really wanted it...all the younger folks that I do don't have checkbooks, besides the monthly fee being low when I don't use it much (summer, fall, etc.)  AND it batches itself out every night (if you used it that day).  What can be simpler than that!   Hope this helps!

I have a couple of clients that have asked to pay via CC but it is seldom and I don't want to pay PAYPAL a $30 monthly fee to accept credit cards
