Re: [taxchat] FORM 2553

My guess is the date elected as as an S on 2553 or date of LLC filing with the State. At least you get it within the right year and IRS could care less.

Subject: [taxchat] FORM 2553

I am filling out the form for a single member LLC that is electing to be taxed as a sub S corporation and wondering what I put as the date of incorporation since they really are not a corporation.
