Exactly.  Both are still open (and will continue to be open !).  The forums have some nifty features that the e-mail doesn't.  The e-mail comes into your inbox, which is neat (although the forums will notify you by e-mail of topics, if you choose, and you just click on the link and you're there).
 
You haven't gotten any messages because, in addition to what Robert said, it's also Thanksgiving weekend and people are on holiday !

We haven't changed yet. JoJo is giving us an alternative. The reason you haven't gotten many messages is because October 15 is past and January has arrived. the alternative can archive info while the original way let's us be casually professional.

Hey Folks,
 
I was messing around with some Forum software, and I created a tax chat forum, which might be easier or more fun than these Yahoo e-mails.  All the topics will be available for easy access, searching, and so on.  Check it out !!!!!  I actually got the idea from somebody in the TaxProExchange group, who was lamenting the loss of some earlier forum somewhere else.

It has various settings I can use to keep spammers out, if it comes to that, although right now there are no public links to the forum, so only we know about it.
