my software has a filing cabinet, which i used for the 1st time this tax season & what a great tool that is.  i can save not only tax info for each client, but acctg, p/roll, etc and notes.  it was free, & we've adapted to using it for everything.  the only thing we have to print out now is the copy for the client, & we've been "suggesting" we put it on CD for them & they can add to it each year & not have to keep all the paperwork they've been keeping.  we scan everything & it can be stored on CD for them, giving them probably 10-15 yrs of returns on 1 CD.
